About Us

Felicity

Education Practitioner

I am currently completing my final year of my BA Education Studies degree at the University of Reading. In regard to my experience, for the last 8 years I have worked with children and young people through tutoring, babysitting, as a live-in nanny and most recently I have begun volunteering in A&E as mentor for children and young people struggling with their mental health. The area of research I specialise in is in trauma-informed practice and I will soon embark on qualifying as a counsellor to enhance this skill set.

I am particularly passionate about ensuring all children have equal opportunities, improving trauma-awareness and supporting children and young people who have mental health problems through holistic approaches.

Aimee

Nanny

I started my journey working with children in Australia around 8 years ago when I began working in a Family and Community centre. From there I worked with several different ages group throughout the nursery before taking a temporary position to become the centre manager.

From this is needed a change so I packed up my life and headed to London where I am currently working as a Nanny.

During my time here I have explored a lot of destinations around Europe I decided to try travel blogging, through this is created my first site oursaltsouls.

After starting this I realised I wanted to use all the skills I have learnt and combine them with my passion for growth in children. So this is how Nurturing Little Journeys began!
